Wow,she's really growing..and I love her 'curls' How is she getting on with all her basics...are you making good progress on her potty training?shes a real cutie x
thanks not sure how much she weighs but shes growing fast lol. its funny when i got her i thought she resembled a Newfoundland puppy well today my dad met her for the first time and first thing he says is she kinda looks like a Newfoundland puppy lol. i took her to the lake today she had a blast she has no problem swimming and will play fetch with the sticks she even will put her heas under water dont fase her. she comes to me when i call most times at home i keep her off leash and let her play at the lake off leash when there weren't people around.
Punky, sorry to put a downer on things, but I am rather concerned that she's been down to the lake and swimming before she's had all her vaccinations. When are her final vaccinations due? Until then (and some vets say for a week or more afterwards) she shouldn't be allowed on the ground in public areas, or anywhere that other dogs or foxes could have been, because she's not immune to some puppy-killing diseases, such as parvovirus. Even if there are no dogs or foxes there at the time you take her, it has been shown that parvo can live on the ground for a year or more after an infected animal has been there. It's really not something to be taken lightly and, as much as I can understand how keen you are to take your puppy out and about experiencing new things, it's surely not worth risking her life for?
Snowbunny is absolutely right.. Of course, you want her to be getting exposure to the outside world, but without endangering her health. Also, she looks like she's got a patch of dry skin on the back of her right leg, with a patch of rather thin fur. What does the vet say?
no that was just the lighting or something dont know why it looks like that in the pic she definitely dont have any places with thin hair lol shes a fur ball. she has had her shots.
Oh that's good. Glad she's had her shots too; you're obviously love her and are taking good care of her . She'll need a booster vaccination at around 12 weeks and most vets say not to allow the puppy out where other unvaccinated dogs or foxes could have been, to avoid contracting illness, that can be fatal.
it was really sunny that day she was trying to get in the shade but think you can see the sun shinning off her which makes it look like that
