Weird day Doug was here. I woke up and called to him. Looked in his bed and realised he's been gone awhile. Thought he was still here to me ages to remember. Very strange

 

He's always with you xxxxx

 

So it would seem.

 

I think they stay with us after they pass until they know we are strong enough to go on. Then they come back and visit when needed as well.

Doug obviously thought you needed visit from him today.

 

I hope it wasn't too sad x

 

No just strange my brain was just convinced he was still here. I don't feel sad. I miss him still but it was his time. I have the good memories just wish I still had him.

I just happy that I loved him so when he was with us and I kept my promises to him

It's nearly 2 years. It still feels strange, I don't like it.

 

We lost our first boy 7 years ago and we still feel sad. Maxx has helped. I hope you are ok @SwampDonkey

 

Two years feels like a blink of an eye when it comes to missing them.
