Salt/grit in the paws

    Shadow showed signs of discomfort this morning, too. We used a deepish tupperware box filled with warm water to wash them off when we got home. Not the easiest thing we've ever done. Some clicker training is definitely in order :)

    Bumping this thread to remind everyone of the danger of dogs ingesting the salt/grit from roads when they lick their feet. Please wash your dogs feet after walks :)

    Poor Shadow that's miserable :( No grit/salt on the roads here yet. I leave a watering can full of hot water in the boot room for feet washing so when we return it's nice and warm to pour over dog feet for a good wash and they don't mind that at all :). Not easy I know in Andora, just a thought. x
