Re: Salt/grit in the paws Shadow showed signs of discomfort this morning, too. We used a deepish tupperware box filled with warm water to wash them off when we got home. Not the easiest thing we've ever done. Some clicker training is definitely in order
Bumping this thread to remind everyone of the danger of dogs ingesting the salt/grit from roads when they lick their feet. Please wash your dogs feet after walks
Poor Shadow that's miserable No grit/salt on the roads here yet. I leave a watering can full of hot water in the boot room for feet washing so when we return it's nice and warm to pour over dog feet for a good wash and they don't mind that at all . Not easy I know in Andora, just a thought. x
