When you care so deeply for your dog like you do Sam, you just know - a heightened sense. I'm sorry he's not quite right.
Hope Sam is feeling better now Kate. What a worry for you but you know when things aren't quite right with him because of your strong bond. Xx
I hope Sam has shown some more improvement today. It is a bumpy road, but he's having the best life ever.
Thanks for asking after our boy . He has had a good day today , thank goodness ! He seems to go for weeks and be on form , then suddenly and without warning , he is off colour , nothing I could explain to anyone else, but we can tell . I work hard to keep his immune system as good as possible , so that when he has a blip , he has a good fight in him . Its tough sometimes , but we try not to think too far ahead , just be grateful that he can fight back and enjoy his life as much as possible . Thanks again for asking after our beloved Sam xx
A little set back I`m afraid . I took Sam to the Vet this morning as I thought he had an ear infection . On examination , it appears that he has some inflammation in the membranes of his ear canal which has caused the irritation . I have a cleaner to use plus steroid drops to reduce the swelling , which the Vet thinks is caused by the blasted lymphoma , he also has a small lesion in his mouth . Hopefully he can recover again , just feeling very low right now as its one more sign that this horrible disease isn't going to leave him alone . In himself , he is alright, still eating well and enjoying his walks , so we must be thankful for this x
@Ais so sorry to hear about your loss, it's so painful there aren't really any words. @kateincornwall my heart goes out to you, sending big hugs and Mabel sends a massive Labrador lick to Sam. Xx
So sorry to hear this Kate. I hope Sam picks up soon but he's still eating and walking so that's great xx
