Re: Sardine dispenser
The Moule is in fact the Mouli. It is a hand cranked item for pureeing baby food. You can get them for about £19 from Amazon.
That's the one! My mum still has the one she used when I was a kid ;D
Re: Sardine dispenser hmmm....wonder if blended potato would work with the sardines? ;D ;D ;D It's sloppy enough....
Re: Sardine dispenser Did I suggest an Icing Syringe? you could either use it without a nozzle or a large nozzle. They are used for Royal Icing so are designed to take quite thick mixtures.
Re: Sardine dispenser Hi Tina - yes, I reckon an icing bag might work, but it would be a bit tricky to carry and operate on the move. I think a syringe would definitely work, but I'm short of hands as it is, so was dubious about operating it. I wonder if there are "gun" type ones though....
Re: Sardine dispenser Gun type icing syringes are available, I've seen them on ebay. If I was clever enough I would cut and paste the link You can also make biscuits with them. A Gold Standard chance to multi task.
Re: Sardine dispenser Baby food bags arrived today. I cannot believe it , it works. I used sardines in sunflower oil. Drained oil , put sardines into the wee mini grinder thing that came with my hand blender. Put in bag and seal. Fold bottom of bag , squeeze and voila Cupar has stuck to me like glue.
Re: Sardine dispenser Spotted some excellent squeeze bottles in asda this morning. They are the ones you use for ketchup and mustard. Like on a hot dog stand but mini. No more than 4" would fit into pockets or stand in treat bag.

I'll try the blender too later.

Re: Sardine dispenser Dedication to the 'Sardine Dispenser' design Julie ;D All this research makes me want to try Dexter on sardines to see if his tummy can take it just so I can make one too! ;D
Re: Sardine dispenser
Never. Blend. Potato.
An electric whisk doesn't do a half bad job though you know?as long as you have started the mashing process off manually....

Lack of control over my veggies no doubt..
Re: Sardine dispenser Ha ha ha ha ha ha I'm laughing my head off Julie,we are nearly as dedicated to lump free mash potato as we are to our dogs ;D ;D ;D
Re: Sardine dispenser Hi, I'm new to this thread but have a question (which is probably daft!). I want to give this sardine dispenser idea a try with Molly as I think she'll love it. I have seen a baby pouch and blender kit for sale on the web but how do you dispense the sardines? Do you squirt it into the dogs mouth or onto your finger/ hand and let them lick it off? Vikki
Re: Sardine dispenser Hi Vikki, I guess you could do either, but for me I would value the fact that using one I would not be getting my hands manky and fish smelling ;D
