Good morning, Pablo is currently asleep on my feet but our first 3 days have gone well. He is absolutely adorable and such a bright little chap. We have had 2 little accidents but other than that he is able to tell us when he needs to go out. Night times have gone better than I excepted, he has a crate in his playpen and settles really well. Mose, our 13 yr old choccy lab has been most accommodating and after a brief moment of "I'm the boss" when Pablo tried to clamber on him, they seem to get along so far. The cats are not so sure of our new addition. Little Em is perfectly chilled, happy to snuggle up with me and the pup but the other 4 are treating him with suspicion and understandably keeping a healthy distance - thank goodness for stair gates!
Hi there, Welcome to the Forum....looks like they will be firm friends. Is that them both snuggled up on the puppy bed? X
Hi Dexter, That's one of Mose's beds. He has three but they squidged up together on the littlest one! We've just been for a saunter together to try a bit of socialisation. Mose was mainly off the lead as he plods at a steady pace. Pablo was in my arms and we met other dog owners and children on their way to school. I made sure they both had some fuss, they were very good boys.
Ah sounds like it's all going well so far ,Mose sounds like a great Mentor...good luck with the cats x
Ah that's lovely - my Bones was 12 when we brought Poppy home, but she was a bit too much for him the first couple of months...
Aww, lovely. So much better for the pup to grow up with a gorgeous old gentleman like Mose. Have fun and very best wishes.
