It's good that it doesn't seem to be a tumour. I hope he shows a response to the medication. Sorry you're having such a rough time

Further deterioration today - vet says prob cancer as not responding to drugs. Not fair to draw it out - I'm going to be with him this morning as he slips away. He's had 10 amazing months and given us so much joy. I feel privileged to have shared our lives for this short period. Thank you all, for your kind thought and support.
I am so very sad and sorry to read this, but also , for what its worth , you are making the kindest decision and selfless too, to be putting your dear lad first , in my thoughts at this awful time x
I'm absolutely devastated for you. So glad he found his way to you eventually, and it's clear he knew plenty of love. It doesn't make it any easier for you at this horrible time, but hopefully you will find some comfort in that in the times to come. Thinking of you all x
