Re: Search and Rescue Today training went really well (i even got some action shot photos), puzzle was a very good girl, well apart from having a mid day snack of cow pat :. We started off with some general obedience and unfry her puppy brain, from being in a new place with lots of smells and lots of things she can eat. We then done 3 runouts, she is starting to get the hang of it now, body does not need the toy anymore, dad has it (me and dad are taking turns on training). Next time we are going to take the video camera and get a video of her doing some runouts, so you actually understand what i am talking about, as it is hard to explain. i did get some photos of her doing some runouts today, so i will upload them later. After doing some runouts me and puz went for a walk down the track where we done so fetches and recall practice, she also done some fetches out of water, sadly no river but giant puddles make for excellent puppy water training. We were training at cavenham heath today, started nice but then started to rain from midday onwards.
Re: Search and Rescue Sort of forgot about this thread :. She is progressing very well with her training, she has moved onto the next step now which is great. She is taking a small break whilst she is in season but will be strait back into training once that has finished. She is going to be on our teams website soon, as it is being updated with all the new dogs on the team
