The vet told me apoquel is expensive too...month 1 is around $150 and then afterward is around $100/month. I'm hoping we will be able to stop it in the fall and start again in spring, as she was totally fine over the winter. Quinn has lost a lot of hair on her chest too, but not as much as last year (since she was a puppy 3 vets weren't concerned until she got a skin infection!)
It's supposed to work pretty quickly - the first two weeks are two doses a day, then it goes down to once a day for maintenance. So I'm hoping that within 2 weeks she gets some relief!
