Does anyone know of a website that specialises in second-hand dog equipment? Preparing for a new puppy it struck me that many items will be quickly superseded as she grows, and I could have managed perfectly with second-hand items if I had a place to source them.

I can never find my topics again once I have posted, so perhaps any replies will not even help me...

I would use ebay for that sort of thing. I don't know of any dog equipment specific site :)

And assuming you spot this reply if you look in the top right corner of your screen you can click on "Show new replies to your posts" which should highlight responses or "Show unread posts since last visit" will give you a view of what the most recent chat has been :)

I don't know of any dog-specific site, but if you have a local Freecycle group you could try it. You can look up your local area here - http://uk.freecycle.org/regions
    Good luck :)

If you are in the UK you could try Gumtree.

There are often local classifieds on the Net.

I have made several attempts to sell Molly's first crate with no success. So one of the local dog rescues will benefit.

    Re: Second hand equipment

Thank you for useful replies - as I thought, no dedicated site. When I come to replace my 'starter' equipment I will just have to use what is available. Using eBay has caused cloning of my cards twice in the past, but if I am selling, that should not be a problem.

Thanks for hint about where to see responses! - saves me a lot of time trying to remember where I put my query...

If you are on Facebook you may have a local Facebay group that would be of use for second hand equipment but again it's not specific.
In our area it is quite active.
Often people post up that they are looking for items and get inundated with responses.
