Re: Second op in a week

Thank you all so much for your good wishes to both Murphy and myself, you are all very kind xx

Murphy had his second wee op 3 days ago where they cut a bit out of the pad and then re- stitched it. He's got a lovely blue doggie bandage which fingers crossed has remained intact. If we are able to sit and watch him constantly we take the cone off, otherwise he has it on so he doesn't nibble :) We've not kept him in his crate but try to keep him calm as much as possible (the bandage is fairly well padded). He goes back to vet on Monday to get the wound checked and bandage changed so we'll see what's what then.

He has been really good so far I have to say, considering he's not been out for a walk for 2 weeks now. He has been use to three good walks a day!!!

Please keep fingers and toes crossed that it's good news on Monday at the vet. I want him to be on the mend before I go in for my op the following week. I'll let you know how it goes :-\

    Karen xx

Hi, just an update, Murphy finally got his stitches out yesterday and has been extremely happy to get out for a couple of walks today, first time in four weeks. Happy happy mummy and daddy and extremely excited Murphy :) :) :)

I was in hospital for my op wed/thu this week. My husband came home at lunchtime on the Wednesday to find this. Think Murphy was missing his mummy !!!!!!!

Whoops! Murphy was definitely missing you and arranging a nice gift for you when you come home. I hope you are feeling ok after the op, are you still in hospital or home?

I got home yesterday stacia and feeling well, thank you. First time Murphy has EVER done anything like this and because it was the day I got my op my husband couldn't be cross with him. We never really liked the plant anyway!! :)

He is much to be admired causing all that delightful mess with a cone on, obviously a talented interior decorator :D

Pleased to read that you are home and feeling well x

Glad you're through the op. Murphy obviously decided you needed a better get-well flower arrangement. :)

So lovely to hear that you are home Karen, I wish you a speedy recover and please take care of yourself. By the way Murphy is just the most handsome boy even if he has redecorated your sitting room :) :) x
