No, the X-rays will get sent away for analysis so it'll be about two weeks before we know what's going on.
Thats going to be a long 2 weeks of worrying for you, but i bet it will fly by. I don't think i could wait 2 weeks for barley's results, i don't have the patience :
Re: Seeing the orthopaedic vet... Try not to worry too much. It will all be ok, and the time will go by fast until the results come in. You are doing the best thing possible for her.
Re: Seeing the orthopaedic vet... Ah Lauren, it's normal to be concerned and worried. We love our dogs and you're doing the right thing for her. Meg had to go for X rays 6 years ago. That was at our previous vets. I felt terrible leaving her. Our vets here give a pre med and then you go and sit with your girl until she gets sleepy. When Meg had her ultrasound a few weeks ago they let me go with her to the waiting area where they have the cages and she went in with a little bit of encouragement from me. I was lucky when Meg had her X-rays. Our vets at the time was a small hospital so I got the results the same day. Penny will be in good hands. Good luck for tomorrow.
Re: Seeing the orthopaedic vet... Good luck Lauren, I know how you're feeling Willow went into hospital today for surgery tomorrow. Keep us updated on her progress x
