I started giving Pongo salmon oil recently because he was getting scabby bits on his skin. I did think for a few days that it had reduced his shedding, but it was only an illusion..... sorry to disappoint you! But his skin cleared up lovely and his fur is now JUST AMAZING (deep and soft and rich and I just want to bury my face and hands in it forever.....:))

I always think Pongo looks like he has a similar coat to Shadow. Very soft and a bit fluffy, like it's all undercoat. I think I love the hair on his throat the most. It's SO soft. I could stroke it forever :)

Yes, Pongo has the most amazing ruff of fur round his neck and chest. That was where he was getting scabs, such a shame. The salmon oil has made it thick and rich and soft and THICK and lovely and did-I-mention-THICK and gorgeous. I put my arms round his neck and bury my hands in it.

I'm worried that I have a touch of Cruella de Ville in me. I keep thinking what a lovely coat he'd make.

Hello there . Yes my girl sheds bucket loads . I use a furminator which helps . But still have to hoover every day . I take her to the groomer about 3 times a year for a real good brush out. You tend to just make it part of your day .love her to bits.
