woke up at 5am this morning to Axel throwing up. A couple days ago u came home from work and he tore his bed and had eaten the fluffy inside of it. I didn't think he had much.

He's been eating fine, drinking normal. Normal poops. But yet this morning he threw up and it was 95% of that fluff stuff. A good handful

    So naturally now I'm worried:(

He's still happy and bouncey and playing. And stealing couch pillows as per usual. I haven't fed him yet because I'm worried.

Is this normal? Eat something they shouldn't then throw it up? A day or two later? Or should I be concerned of a blockage ?

Like I said, his poops have been normal and regular.

    Thanks in advance

I dont think he has a blockage if he has being pooping as normal. And probably he vomited up the bedding.. but if it were me, I would be visiting the vet just to make sure.

    That is usually quite reassuring.
I guess you don't know how much of the bedding he has eaten.
I think if you are worrying, you would be best to phone your vet and have a chat at the very least.

Ok inspected his bed. It was about a handful of fluff missing and be threw up about a handful. So I think we are ok. He's still acting completely fine. I fed him he was fine and had his second normal poop of the day.

    Phew!

We are taking him on his first trip tomorrow to our cabin and it's a few hours away from home so I was nervous but I feel better now :)

Like others have said it can't hurt to call and talk to your vet. I think it is pretty typical to to eat something they shouldn't then go and throw it up later. Definitely good that he is eating, drinking, pooping normal and acting like himself.

I'm sure he will have lots of fun at the cabin.

This has happened to us a couple times...eating something 1-2 days before and then throwing up (sock, kids chalk ). Most recently, we think Quinn swallowed a lot of lake water while swimming and threw up the next morning quite a few times (she was back to eating and being completely normal by lunch time). I usually call the vet to ask and watch that she is eating, drinking and going to the toilet.
