For the past 2 morning Harley has got up around 7.30am with my OH (I've got a few days off work), had breakfast, been out for a wee etc then came back to bed with me. Within half hour she has vomitted on the floor, yesterday she left it and hopped back on the bed so I could clean up. This morning she ate most of it before hopping back on the bed - I had to go and find a bag as there was a lot to clean up!
Anyway, apart from these episodes she is eating, drinking, happy etc. She has her tea at 7pm then has a small snack around 9pm which we have done since we got her. Any ideas or suggestions?

Is she gobbling her breakfast? Could you give her a small portion, wait an hour and then give her some more?

Two days in a row is a bit weird. Poor Harley and poor you!!! You have my utmost sympathy in the cleaning up after poorly dogs department.

Give the vet a shout if you have the same problem tomorrow for sure.

This happened with poppy a few weeks back. We put it down to her food. we went back up to 3 meals a day and she was fine. I then spoke to a friend of mine who knows a dog food nutritionist, she said that dried dog food these days can be very rich. ( Poppy was fine on Chicken and rice). so we have changed her food. and touch wood all has returned to normal.

I do hope you can get this sorted, poor Harley. Its also no fun paddling in sick.

Sorry to hear Harley has been vomiting. I have to move fast if Dexter vomits as he's super fast in eating it.
Do you know if Harley had a large drink or gulped a drink. That has made Dexter vomit.
Hope Harley is back to normal soon. X

    Oh nooooooooooooooo! Poor Harley.
Pongo has been slightly squiffy since Sunday too (nothing serious, just some vile smells and a certain amount of "urgency" in his walkies!). It's unusual for him. I wonder if there was some sharing of something delicious and not-quite-wholesome at Snuff Mills?

Hope she is back to herself soon. And that you don't step in anything unexpected in the meantime....

is it a brand new bag of food? Regardless if it's your usual brand? Sometimes a bag can be off, or manufacturers change ingredients and don't tell you. Might be worthwhile to just do a quick check of the lot number on line to see if there are any problems with the food itself.

    Thanks all.
She's on a Barf diet which I defrost overnight as one block covers breakfast and tea, so don't think it's the food.
She doesn't drink much - only on a walk, after a walk and usually around 8/9pm.
It could be something from Snuff Mills on Sunday.........she did sleep a lot when we got home after our walk! Hope Pongo is ok @Rosie
I will try giving her half her breakfast tomorrow morning, then the other half an hour or so later sand see if this helps - thanks @bbrown

. That was Poppy's issue they had "improved" the food.[/QUOTE]

I've recently had a similar problem. Ordered 5 bags of food as usual, was told they'd changed the size and colour but the ingredients were the same but it didn't suit my dogs it was very greasy. The most worrying thing was they started drinking over double what they usually would. I contacted the food manufacture who said they'd had complaints about that batch, sent me a different bag to try, still saying they'd not changed anything. New bag no different. I was able to get some of the original kibble from my auntie and within 36 hours the dogs were back to normal. I've now changed their food and I'm waiting to here if I'll get a refund on the four bags I have left. Only £120 !!!

@Naya I hope Harley is back to normal tomorrow. It's a strange one that it's just first thing. Scott will vomit bile if he has an empty tummy so I've always fed them a small amount before bed but you do that and this isn't bile so that's not much help. They know how to worry us these dogs of ours. Keep us posted sorry I can't help.
