10 weeks old today and still gets up every 2 to 3 hours from 10-5. Any suggestions? He's in his crate in the dining room and I am on the couch close by...Sometimes when I bring him out he doesn't even have to go he just lies down in the grass. I'm sure this topic has been discussed before but I don't know how to search on here.
I think you need to ignore him now and go back to your bed. He knows you are right beside him and seeks reassurance. I don't mean to sound hard, but you may make a rod for your own back. I have had puppies 7 puppies over the years, put them to bed at about 11am and ignored the inital crying, they had a warm bed/crate with one of my sweaters in with my scent on and a radio playing softly. By 11 weeks yours should have settled, it is only the first few days that they are at their worst. I waited until they woke and cried at about 5am and then gradually they woke later and later and by 11 weeks, my last one was sleeping until 8am.
Here is an excellent link to advice on helping pups sleep through - http://www.thelabradorsite.com/how-to-cope-with-a-crying-labrador-puppy/ It's worked every time for my pups.
