My little ferret, Twitch, passed away today. It's four months since we lost her sister, Fidget, and we weren't sure she'd live even a week after that, as she went into sharp decline. We gave her lots of extra care, and daily supplements that she took on a teaspoon of Greek yoghurt - a huge treat. She'd come out of her bed, tongue-first when she woke to the spoon being wafted in front of her. She slowly came back to strength and enjoyed her cuddles - and giving J a good nibble. She never bit me, but would always give him a sneaky nip; just like a puppy, they play with their teeth. She was by far the smaller of the two, but was a feisty one, always jumping on long-suffering Fidget and giving her a nibble.

She had her morning cuddles, raw meat and yoghurt, and passed away in her sleep during the day. A peaceful way to go, and we couldn't hope for a better way. We'll still miss her terribly, though. The house will be a little bit different when I return at the weekend.

    Sleep well, little Twitch-monster.

Awww so sorry. They make lovely pets. We lost our big male last year a few months after losing the female. They're huge characters, really miss watching them play.

So sorry to read about little Twitch, the loss of a beloved animal leaves a large gap in out lives, but some comfort to know that Twitch had a very good life with you.

I'm so sorry. It hits me a bit hard, never had a ferret, but my cat when I got married was named Twitchie. Twitchie-Witchie-Pookie-Wookins for short. ;) Maybe they will meet at the Rainbow Bridge.

I'm so sorry for your loss of beautiful little Twitch. She and Fidget look like they were a remarkable pair and now can get up to all sorts of mischief together again.

Aww,,,I am so sorry, what an amazing life they both had, I have enjoyed your video clips and tales of their antics, would have never considered ferrets as pets...but now I think what great family members Twitch and Fidget were. x
