Out walking by the river and the SBD trots down to get a drink from her usual spot but apparently not noticing that there is a lot more water in the river. Jumps down onto the ledge at the edge and disappears in a big splash. Re-emerges coughing and spluttering and pretending she meant to do it, but we all know different don't we.
She was just having a quick dip....I hope you pretended not to notice, and didn't double over laughing....
That's funny. Her trying to be cool about it. Chepi regularly jumps in The Thames or other streams and because the banks are steep, can't get out, so she just clings on with front paws while I manoeuvre to a position, on my knees, to haul her out. THEN she has a little party jig as if she enjoyed it!
Of course you meant to take a little refreshing dip....the water was just a wee bit cooler than you expected...
