Smelly ears

    Sorry to be a bit flippant, but when I was working at the vets' I used to love smelly ears :)

    Stacia, Pongo says you can come and sniff his ears any time! (Just bring a biscuit...)

    Thanks, Julie - and for the Lochan link too. The vet checked Wispa's skin, especially paws, and found no problems, so I hope it's not going to recur too often. She had an infection in one ear last September, but the other ear is affected more this time. On both occasions she'd been swimming several times a couple of weeks before, so maybe that could have triggered it. She's enjoying the extra treats for allowing herself to be pinned in a corner for the treatment!
