Koda, almost 14 weeks old, began sneezing 3 days ago, especially first thing in the morning when I let him out of his crate to go potty outside. He reminds me of the allergy sneezing spells I get in the spring. He sneezes, on and off, throughout the day, at random times, usually when excited, but shows no signs of being bothered by this at all. He did slip into my mother-in-laws pool on Sunday - he and her dog were playing and he went in - but he liked it so much he willingly went in, again, a short while later (he loves water whether taking baths and/or showers). The water was cold and it was a bit cool outside, not sure if that is the cause.

He does appear to have a bit of a runny nose - not all the time - but this has been the case since he came home at 8 weeks of age. He was then cleared by the breeders vet, and by mine, given a clean bill of health and is current with all of his shots. I called my vet and the tech told me he could have an upper respiratory infection, but he doesn't show any symptoms of illness other than what I previously mentioned. I will be taking him in tomorrow morning, but I am wondering if I should be worried? He is active and rambunctious as ever and his never-ending lab appetite is as strong as ever.

Well, I don't think I would be too worried, dogs can get colds just like us, so perhaps that is what is the case here. Good to have him checked by a vet, though, just for peace of mind. Let us know what he says!

No, I would not be worried. You are seeing the vet soon enough. It sounds minor to me, though it is always worth getting things checked out :)

It's normal to occasionally have a tiny bit of clear fluid coming from the nose. It might be nothing - depends on the volume and consistency. When dogs get allergies to things in the air it most often affects their skin and they become itchy, whereas with humans it affects our respiratory systems and eyes. Generally they don't sneeze as an allergic reaction (unlike us!).

Hope it all goes well at the vets but I wouldn't feel too stressed about it at this point :)

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Nothing to add to what the others have said. Please feel free to share more pictures of Koda and tell us more about yourself over in Introductions :)
