Just catching up on the whole thread in one go - I'm so sorry that this has happened to little Aramis, and it sounds very, very lucky that you caught this when you did. I'm very glad that the op was successful, and I hope that he makes a quick and clean recovery. Poor little dude, but he's got his appetite an that's always a good sign
Update : He is home Crate bound pretty much for next 10days except for toilet visits, and little calm cuddles . We are on Clavaseptin twice a day, and Tramadol every 8-12 hours as needed. He is obvs quieter, but I did get a bark when i removed my hand from the side of the crate that he was chewing on. He has to go back Monday, and then again in a week , plus we are doing a pooled 3day faecal sample (always fun) . How happy he was to see me was very touching, and kind of offered some relief, I irrationally thought god he's gonna hate me for leaving him there. Plus he bite me almost immediately so I was happy!!!! Again a huge thanks to you guys for your kind wishes , now let's just hope I don't screw this bit up!!
He just seems so small and delicate you know , and there was so many instructions about what he can't do , it's all just a bit scary ? God I sound like an idiot . Yh I really can't wait till he's charging about the place and I'm running behind trying to clear up his destruction. Thank you. I know this sounds silly but I honestly believe he is well aware of how beautiful he is .
I just keep reminding myself the vets is only down the road , and they are on the end of the phone 24hrs if i need them. Thank you both.
