    Thank you :)
See I've been wondering about this? He's on six small meals a day so would I just replace one with the kong instead? I've never done a kong before bcos we just haven't had the chance with him poorly on and off since we got him, though we do have one. So should I just fill it up?

Yes, put the food you would give him in and freeze a bit - see how it goes. I have a supply in the freezer - just the food both dogs have - they are both busy with one now as I type :).

Nothing to be embarrassed about. I had never heard of a kong until we got Red. Sky never had them (she does now and gets so excited - she even led me to the freezer earlier - hint hint :D). I think I am an expert now :).

I soak the food in the kong, then tip the water out, then freeze :)

Boogie, great idea ..... I was soaking the kibble separate and then "spooning" it in with my fingers!!This is so much easier and less messy....I had never thought of that.....thanks for sharing!

There are NO embarrassing questions we can't cope with.
And remember.....we don't actually KNOW you......so can't snigger and titter behind your back when we meet you in the supermarket ;)
We have poo photos on our phone, talk about swollen lady-bits, and swoon over boys with their bits on show in photos.
    We are bomb-proof. :D
    Ask away.

Lol thank you, I am glad I'm not the only one with poo photos , I thought it was just me :D So vets went brilliantly this evening, Aramis has all clear from op so can now over the next week start introducing food again, and over the bank holiday introduce more time outside the crate , but an eye on him charging about . Have 3 more days worth of the Giardia medicine, and despite everything he's even managed to put on a little weight which was a bit shocking as his legs have grown so he looks a bit gangly, and underweight. She's very cautious about starting his vaccinations again so we have to wait till he's back on food, and more regular normal toilet habits and clear of giardia. She also complimented me on having one of the most unbothered laid back puppies she has ever seen. It's only a shame it doesn't last once we are back home

That's good news! It's not surprising that you're on a bit of a roller coaster. It's so worrying and exhausting when they're not well and out of normal routine, however varied it is.

I hope the Kongs go down well and help to keep Aramis busy!
