took Rory to his first lesson at his new training class last night and despite his early over excited sillies he settled down and had a lovely time. All the stuff I've taught was there and he loved showing off and just being Rory. He has been paired with a very nervous young springer bitch who is very retiring and he was so sweet with her she gained enough confidence thoughout the lesson to feel ok about him and even sniff his bottom. He had a real mental workout and was very tired when he got home. So glad we have done this it will help with his confidence and focus and we both really enjoyed our first session. I'm really looking forward to out next session I just like doing stuff with Rory he makes me smile.

Sounds lovely for you both! What kind of class is it? General obedience?

That sounds like really good experience for you & Rory, strengthening your bond. Isn't it great when you get a little chance to show off in class?

Me Rory and Moo got attacked by some guys about a month ago its made us all a bit jumpy and so i wanted a quiet class which could build his confidence and get him more focused its general obedience. it only has one other dog in the class so its easy for him to learn calmly. Once he's done this I hope to intergrate him into a busier class with more dogs so that he can gain more confidence. I just want him to be a bit happier around town
