We learnt today how socks end up in the house having been washed! (ignore the OH in the back ground. He had already removed this from Cody once and left the garden and was watching from right behind me so sounds really loud). I grabbed the camera knowing what was coming next;)

That's really strange - and funny. Molly has never shown the slightest interest in the washing on the line, and it is one of those spinning things too. I wonder what it is that attracts their attention to the socks! You sure they were washed before they went on the line?

Haha. This particular object was the dyson filter. But I have found damp socks on the floor/sofa before and assumed I had dropped them when putting washing out. Now I know the truth!

Rory opens the washing machine to get socks he can even open the locked door. Socks are things of fascination and just fabulous to suck

    Yup, socks are special!

Murphy steals mine out of the clothes hamper. Takes them into the hallway, mouths them until they are soaked and then leaves them there. He is very careful when he steals them, it is like he is performing a very delicate task. THEN, once he has them, the butt goes down and he charges off down the hallway.

Yes this is our boy too. Whilst I'm showering he will sneak into the bedroom, pick one up, sneak out like a ninja and leg it down stairs. I know as soon as I hear those paws on the stairs my shower time is over. Ive started shutting bedroom doors, but this week he figured out how to open them

My pup does this with toys in my son's bedroom. She doesn't often come upstairs and I've got into the habit of shutting upstairs doors, but if I hear her come up and go down very quickly it's because she's got a cuddly toy which she plans to rip to shreds downstairs, out of sight!

Sounds like you are all the lucky ones. Clever clever to get the washing off the line. If Vanilla gets a sock she will suck and then swollow. Twice now and both have then involved a trip to the Vets...:)

    Love the videos.....such determination :cwl:
Harley has always had a fascination for socks, she prefers them if they have been worn! She has never chewed or destroyed or swallowed anything though, just likes to suck on them or play keep away for a bit. I do play chase with her with socks and it is funny because she doesn't do it with anything else.
