Poor Moo, it does sound like she is improving, and she is happy and comfortable with you. The anaemia will be making her tired and a wee bit breathless no doubt. It is amazing how they can get by though, on just a little renal function.
Moos improved so much it's amazing. She's eating by herself now and being really silly. Rorys getting his daily savaging (one side of the mouth only) and her little face is not swollen at all. I keep getting a cheeky nosy little face peeping at me round corners and scampering about spinning and barking at me when she's excited. So we seem back to normal pretty much. Incredible really. I really know how lucky we've been and how happy she is
Well her mouth is healing well and she's looking great but she is in renal failure and still anaemic. We are going to retest in 5 weeks and if it's still the same decide what to do.She enjoyed going on the bus and was her usual darling self at the vets. She has lost weight but is shiny coated and as perky as ever. While I got her tea ready she Chased Rory round and was just crazy and silly.I don't feel sad or upset really I've been here before with other dogs its the how things are for her now so we'll treat what we can and make sure she has as much fun as possible. She really amazes me shes so confidant its her world and everthing needs to be how she likes it .she still rules apparently
Glad Moo is feeling better and enjoyed her bus ride and yoir new Vet was a good experience too I hope (believe it was according too Moo ). Soinds like she is getting back to normal and Rory is helping with that
We will be sorting all that out the vets want her to recover bit more and retest. I think we will have to use soft food as she's finding hard food difficult. She's very unsettled today so I think she may have to be on tramadol permanently too.she's been having lots of back rubs and cuddles and eating ok. Her urine is not terrible so any change she will be back at the vets. I'm trying not to worry and just take it a day at a time.
She's snoring her head off in her cosy bed infront of the fire. Ive got to be strong and compassionate and help her with this part of her life. I'm lucky to have had her so long. I know what's she's like she'll keep going as long as she dam well pleases. Funny little thing.I understand what's happening so I can make things easy for her.
Oh @SwampDonkey will Moo feel a bit better as the day goes on? Moo does sound a bit tired of everything at the moment. I hope you are OK, although probably not.
