Brilliant! Love the photos. We don't care on this forum do we? ;D ;D ;D ;D Yes, come on - every one on the sofa! Why don't we have a sofa day, like a duvet day? 8)

Day One: definitely no dogs on the furniture. No way. Nope. Never.
Day Ten: Pongo has adopted daddy's chair. Aw, he looks so happy. Seems a shame to move him. He's being so good.
Day Thirty: Pongo has gained squatters rights on daddy's chair. When Paul sits on chair, Pongo sits on Paul. Until Paul moves.
Day Forty: Chair is re-named Pongo's chair. Paul is allowed to use it when Pongo is out.

Day Seventy (and I'm ashamed of this one:( Mummy thinks Pongo looks nice and warm on the floor and her feet are cold on the sofa. Mummy drags Pongo up onto the sofa against his will to warm her feet.
Day Seventy One onwards: Pongo is on the sofa. Forever.

But other furniture? No, definitely no dogs on the other furniture. No way. Nope. Never.

    ;D ;D ;D

On Day One, I firmly announced that there would NO dogs on the furniture. Right?

My old Dad reached over to pat Charlie, and told him "don't worry, lad, you'll be on the sofa before the week is out". ::)

Murphy getting comfy on the sofa. He normally stretches out on the 3 seater whilst my OH and I squeeze onto the two seater. He's not a cuddler unfortunately, he prefers his own space.

I plan to start with no going on the sofa. I don't want her jumping off and hurting herself for one thing. I am opting for joining her on the floor. I wonder how long that will last> ::)

Ok ....in my experience 12 months ;D.......
i used to get down on the floor with m'laddo!suddenley I had an epiphany and realised that he was trained and could be trusted enough to come up only when he was invited....we have a white duvet that gets put on the couch and he comes up with a 'hup hup ' invite ;D if the duvet isn't there,he wouldn't dream of getting up.....life got better once Dexter came up on the couch! ;D

::) okaaaaaaaay, been waiting for the right opportunity to show you this ............

We let Oscar go where he likes, on the sofa or chairs on the living room. He sleeps in his basket in our bedroom and gets on the bed at about 5am.

He does get off why told.

He's a big part of our family and we treat him as such. (or rather he treats us as such)
