Hmmm. I thought that Willow's slightly soft poo was down to the chicken wings she was getting every couple of days for lunch. JulieT suggested chopping them in half, so I was going to do that but figured I would get her back to normal first so I had a clean slate (and terrace!) to work from. She's not had anything out of the ordinary for a few days now and is still a bit runny. It's nothing too drastic, just shiny and soft rather than firm and "kickable". I put her on rice and chicken from yesterday lunchtime and will continue with that today so hopefully that will sort it. Otherwise, my vet at our first consultation said she wouldn't need worming again until after her second jabs. She has only been wormed once; I think at about 2 or 3 weeks, but not since then. I blithely followed the vet's word, but I've now read up and it seems in the UK puppies are wormed a lot more frequently than this. So now I'm wondering if the soft poos could be caused by worms? I don't know where she would have picked them up because her stool sample at 8 weeks was clear and she's only been on the floor on our terrace since then, but do you think it's a possibility?
