hi I have a 4 month old yellow lab and she has always had soft stools we have tried her on royal cannin for puppy’s and AVA puppy and still having soft stools. I have also tried VET IQ stool firm tablets and still formed but soft . Are labs generally like this or what food would people recommend ?
We have feed Luna on Simpsons premium 80/20 from 8 weeks (now 16 weeks) and not had any issues with her poops. We also feed salmon, scrambled eggs, carrot mixed in at least once a day and puppy peanut butter, banana and watermelon as snacks. Everyone comments on how shiny her coat is and how lovely she looks so we must be doing something right!
Could you be feeding her too much? We have always fed puppies raw and not had any issues with soft stools with any of them.
