My name is Noble, last month my service dog, a rescued lab mix named Beau, had to be put out of his pain. He was loyal, loving, intuitive and the best example of unconditional love I have ever encounteted. I am grateful that I got to be his person for 10 years. I am heart broken. It will get easier, it's just that some good byes are harder than others. Thank you for letting me share.
I am so sorry for your loss. It is terribly painful to lose an old friend. I hope you can find some comfort in your memories of happy times together.
You will have been very close to your dog if he was a service dog and it is heartbreaking to lose someone you loved so much and who loved you. Beau was very lucky that you were his person as you are that you were his person. You are right, it does get easier, but painful until that time happens. You will have wonderful memories. Take comfort that he lived his life to the full and will never be forgotten.
I am so sad you lost Beau. He sounds like he was an incredible dog. Thank you for sharing, maybe when the pain is a little less raw you could share some stories and photos of your lad.
Sorry for your loss. Beau sounds like a really special dog. Be kind to yourself and let yourself grieve for Beau.
So so sorry for your loss, I lost my Blake 3 weeks ago so I completely send all my love and thoughts to you. I know how painful it is. Run free Beau. x
