He IS a mega-cuddler and a lovely size (smallish) for getting right into your lap and having a cuddle. It's only been a little over a week of walks, but we've already got a routine where I walk him last so that we can sit in front of the shelter before going back in and have a cuddle. I sit down on the ground and he plops right into my lap. I bet he'd be in ecstasy on an actual sofa! :)

He's such a lovely dog, how did he end up in a shelter.
I've been told by 2 different owners who's dogs we're going for Inky that it's because he's black! Inky just looks bemused.

Points in favour of Emily adopting Carbon:

He’s black - Emily loves black dogs.
He’s a labrador - Emily’s been looking at labradors, lots of them, and because we, her forum friends, have done a good job of convincing her that’s what she wants (although maybe still subconsciously).
Carbon is lovely, cuddly - and deserves a wonderful home, with lots of fun and adventures too.
    He fits into the Tardis.
    Carbon loves Emily.
    Emily loves Carbon.

    Points against Emily adopting Carbon:

    My mind’s gone blank...

I have just thought of another reason. She would save on petrol, because she wouldn't have to keep going to see him if he lived with her. I rest my case.

I'm heading to bed early with painkillers and Netflix because one of the dogs (not any already talked about here) did a number on my hand today. It'll be fine, but neither typing nor consciousness is my friend at the moment. Will be back to post more photos and deal with all you determined doggie matchmakers later in the weekend. :p

Ah, sympathies. Hope that the painkillers and Netflix work their magic (is there a glass of wine indicated too?). Sleep well and know it really was all in a good cause.

Sorry to read that, take care and watch carefully that your hand doesn't become infected.

I hope that your hand is feeling better this weekend, and I'm sorry to hear that a doggy did a number on it.

Whoever Carbon ends up with will be very lucky - he'll make a brilliant dog for somebody.
