All this time we've been a little bit on pins and a tad apprehensive about the mischief of the Lambie Network and then the Obi Meister reveals and directs it's healing power.....awesome :D
Feel better soon Willow and enjoy your hollibobs Shadow x

    Re: Spay day

She's home! She's been very whiney since getting home, I think more from the effects of the GA making her feel off than any pain from the op. She's obviously moving round a bit tentatively and lying down from a stand is a bit of an effort, but in general, she's in good humour, asking for tummy rubs.

I tentatively tried her on a little bit of dinner when we got home to see if she was interested. Her good Lab heritage shone through as she scoffed the lot. She's also had plenty to drink and is going to the loo as normal.

She's not wearing a collar/cone at the moment, but sporting a rather attractive string vest. I'll get some pictures tomorrow, but to be honest, it's not the best look for a dignified lady such as Willow!

I popped round to see Shadow and give him his dinner. He was having tummy rubs on the sofa in front of the log burner. He's really struggling to settle in ;)

Not that settled. She was great, but I've got the mother of all coughs which kept me up most of the night. Still, when she wanted cuddles at 3am, it meant I was there to give them :)

.....And this morning you are thinking "Doesn't she realise she had major surgery yesterday. How am I going to keep her quiet?"

    Good luck with that one.

Heh, not yet. She's still not herself, but I'm sure that will come soon. I've had to put her Buster collar on, too, because she was starting to fuss at the dressing, so that makes her look even more miserable. I'm glad I did some treating with her wearing it in advance. She doesn't seem that fazed by it, and it gives her a pillow to sleep on.

She's still not herself, but getting more like it every hour. I was just sat with her on the floor giving her cuddles and eating a packet of crisps, when she turned round and nicked one out of my mouth! Little madam!!

Just wait until tomorrow, then! Keeping her 'quiet' might be the next challenge. :D

She's definitely more herself today. No whining overnight, stood on me when I sat on the floor with her, giving me licks and looked interested when I was getting dressed to take Shadow for a walk. She's now chewing a rawhide bone that she ignored all day yesterday. My little lady is coming back to me! I know this means I'm going to be tearing my hair out soon, but it's great to see her feeling more like the little monster I know and love :*
