Hey all. I'm hoping to increase the speed of some of Willow's responses. I've had good results in the hand target by putting her in a sit then making excitable noises (she stays well for a moderate amount of excitement, yey!) and then giving her the hand signal for a target. I'm wondering how to extend this to other actions.

So, let's take the sit. She does sit, very consistently, but never with much gusto. I don't know if this is simply because she's still a baby and processing what I've asked her to do, in which case what I'm asking is premature. But if not, how would I go about this? I've read about only clicking the faster responses, but they're all about the same, slow, speed with none standing out as faster than others.

    Any suggestions?

Is it the speed of the actual action you want to improve - ie you want her to move faster, or do you want to reduce latency ie the time it takes for her to start moving after you give a cue?

A bit of both, I think. She pauses for maybe a second and then slowly lowers her bum. Maybe I should video it to show you.
