Thought I would give you all a quick update. Spero is doing really well with his new family . They adore him and have invested a lot of time in him. They have met with a behaviourist to help with his lead pulling. Unfortunately he hasn't put on any weight so is undergoing testing for giardia as he is soooo skinny. Spero and his humans are coming for tea next week so will post some pics then . He might be coming and staying for a few nights soon as his family have an event to go to - really excited
Very exciting that Spero might be coming back to stay for a bit! How lovely you have kept in touch with him and his new family.
Oh, it must be so nice to be keeping in contact and the thought of him coming to stay must be really exciting! He really is one of the forum's great success stories
Lovely to hear this....well not the weight/giardia bit :/ Enjoy your visit and hope the "sleepover" works out well.
How lovely that he's doing so well (apart from the weight problem), and has such a loving family. It must be wonderful to be able to see how he is progressing. Hope the sleepover is a great success.
What a lovely piece of news, and thank you for keeping us updated Naya! Hopefully they can find out what is causing the weight problem.
Thanks Ternaya, great to hear he's so happy in his new place, his forever family sound delighted with him.Hope they get to the bottom of his weight issue and he should start to thrive then.Love to see some pics of him next week x
Great news Spero and his family are all happy and he's settled in so well. It's lovely they are keeping in touch with you Naya and that you can dog sit for them. I'm sure spero will enjoy his little holiday with you.
Great to hear he's settled well with his new family and lovely for you to be able to stay in touch with them.
Just saw an update on Facebook about Spero - he has been with his new family for six months now. They love him; he looks great, and it seems like a very happy time and place for him. I want to thank EVERYBODY who contributed to getting him out of the horrible pound, and especially Ternaya for fostering him. It's a huge success story. Well done, everybody
He really has landed on his paws with his humans . They both adore him so much. They go camping (in a converted van) a lot and he loves exploring new places. I will upload photos when we next meet in January.
