    Hi
My puppy (17 weeks) has a tendency to lay her legs out behind her when lying down.
Could this be an early sign of hip dysplasia ? or is it normal in puppies
She sits nicely not like a frog, and mum and dad (working dogs) had good and fair hip scores.
    Thanks

    Hi @Chris D 8

I have had two out of six Labs do exactly as you describe for their entire lives. And neither of them had hip dyslpasia.

I've seen dogs do this all the time. My puppy does it as well.

Weirdly, my cat does this too! It's bizarre, but he's never had any issues either :)
