I'm sure this dog has regressed to puppyhood at the minute.

He's been sick 7 or 8 times throughout the night and OH thinks he may have eaten a hairgrip!

So I'm going to have to take the day off work to take him to the vets and monitor him.

My boss thinks I'm an absolute doggy nutter! :cwl:

Aw, poor Stanley (and poor you). Hope all goes well at the vet.

Solution to prevent future hair grip debacles - shave your head?

Hope Stanley feels better soon. At least you get to spend the day with him, hopefully.

    Thanks everyone!

We've been to the vets, they can't feel anything untoward. He was so frightened after his last visit though. I had to carry him into the room and cuddle him while he was examined :(

They've said to closely monitor him to make sure nothing is perforated. After how frightened he was by the injection last time the vet decided not to give him one this time.

We've got to put him on chicken and rice or scrambled egg and they've given us some sachets to bulk out his poop. They said it will provide more padding for anything to come out o_O

Fingers crossed it will be all smooth sailing from here and it will pass smoothly.

He's been sick again. But he's having a nice long sleep now. Poor little love.

I'd swap with him in a heartbeat x

No he hasn't had a poo since yesterday. The vet said she wasn't surprised though as his stomach was completely empty :(

If he's sick anymore I'm going to ring the vet again :( we're up to 10 times now.

That's far too much sickness in about 12 hours

Poor little lad, hope he feels better soon. Did the vet give him an anti-sickness jab? Oh, just remembered he was so upset last time he didn't give him an injection. With my dogs, I stroke them vigorously one end, or under the chin, so that they concentrate on what I am doing and don't notice the injection.
