Eeeps!!! :D No, I'm not a fan now! To be fair I should have read up about it before we commenced. Basically I attached it to Bon, started to unravel it and she was getting excited to get going so I threw her ball when it was still wrapped round my finger! The line was not as long as I thought so off went the ball, Bonnie, the long line and my finger!!!

Oh, I've just re-read your post - I thought you'd written "ripped" several people up! I think my post-traumatic long-line disorder is effecting my sight! ::)

Oooh that's awful!! Reading your description of the event made me shudder! I hope it doesn't take too long to heal, that must be so irritating to work around.

My dad's dog once broke his leg by tripping him up - gotta be careful with these big beasts! I always am thankful I'm not an elderly lady when Maisie comes rocketing into my legs at speed during a recall or fetch game.

Indeed. DH threw a pine cone for Shadow when he was standing right behind me the other day, he turned and ran full-pelt into the back of my leg, twisting my ankle painfully. That's with a scrawny little man; I dread to think what would have happened if it had been Pongo! (sorry, Pongo ;) )

A while back, Charlie (30kg) and his mate Brue (35kg) hit the side of my legs without slowing during a chasey game - 65kg of very solid male Labrador smashed into me. My left knee is never going to be the same....

I saw a Labrador break a man's leg at a Flyball comp once. With its head. The dog was fine.

Yep, I can really believe that - I am a lot more careful these days when Charlie is playing, for sure.
