I’ve got a 1.5 year old lab and she’s a great smart girl. She doesn’t jump, doesn’t get overly excited etc BUT... I’d like to work with her on staying back when I answer the front door. Currently she will go out when I open it and just kind of wag and sniff the guests and come back in (worked with her a lot on comebacks when she goes out). Just need instruction on how to get her to stay back when I want
Hi @ahlangle Have you tried teaching place or mat? Easier to get obedience before the distraction walks through the door than when she has got out the front door and is really excited.
