I'm so glad willow is starting to feel more herself poor little thing. :)

I agree with everyone else I'd be making a major complaint. The other thing I thought was wrong from what you've written is that when you pointed out the drugs she'd been prescribed they didn't admit what they were and the mistake. Then again perhaps not a surprise but it puts them even more in the wrong if that's possible.

Have only just caught up with your news. That is shocking! Poor little girl must have been in some considerable pain. So glad she is perking up now.

Just caught up Fiona. How dreadful - you must be so upset and furious. Poor little Willow... So glad she is perking up a little now.

Re: Still recovering from spay, or pining for her brother?

DH just got home and immediately noticed how perky she's looking. I took her to visit Shadow and Alfie, keeping her on-lead. She was super excited! I had a hard time keeping her four feet on the floor, she just wanted to clamber all over everyone. Her tail was going a million to the dozen and she was licking everyone in sight. She had some lovely games of bitey-face with both the other dogs. I had to keep Shadow calm and generally away from her because he was being rather bouncy, but Alfie (who is four) was really, really gentle with her, bless him! Walking the couple of hundred yards back home, she trotted along beside me, for all the world looking like nothing was wrong. She's now crashed out again, having lovely dreams that are making her wag her tail in her sleep. :*

You really MUST write an official letter of complain. Verbal complaints can be ignored and brushed under the carpet. Written ones are much harder to ignore.

I would question the mans fitness to practice. Hopefully a proper written complaint will ensure that he is much more careful in the future.

It was such a non-event for Molly that within 48 hours the only indication that she'd had a major op was her shaven tum. Being a loving and sensitive owner I nick-named her "Baldy Belly"

I am really sorry you have both had such a lousy time.

I am assuming that the cost of the ineffective and incorrect medicene will be deducted from your bill (at the very least)

I shall do. I'll pen it tomorrow. I'll insist on the medication being refunded, although that's somewhat of a triviality, amounting to about €15 in total. It's the principal, though.

Willow also has a nickname, in her string vest, she is Rab C Willow. She just needs a can of lager to complete the look!

I've just got back from a very snowy walk with the boys, to be greeted at the door by her. First time she's done that since the op :)
