Thanks Julie. I think we might try that and see how she gets on. It's a worry when she vomits every morning. I will try anything if it helps her.

Barbara - she was wormed nearly 4 weeks ago so don't think it's that.

Blood results have come back normal. Vet has put a prescription up, do I will send the OH up later to collect it.

Aw, that's all rotten news (except the normal blood results I guess). So what do they think it might be?
And you look after yourself, too. You can't help Harley if you're not good yourself.

    Thinking of you both....

Glad the blood test was ok, but I suppose it doesn't help figure out what's causing the sickness. Sorry to hear you're poorly too - take care.

Exactly like Charlie, every morning, vomited up his breakfast. :( The vet also suspected an ulcer, which was possible because of the length of time Charlie spent taking anti-inflammatories.

It might not be the same, of course, and might be something completely different. But it might be worth a try, the relief when switching him to SC21, and it stopped, was tremendous. He is still on that food now, and I introduce new protein sources very carefully. Still, it's sorted, which is the main thing.

We changed Harleys food to sensitive kibble and it seems to of worked. She hasn't been sick the past 2 days :)
As for me.......I was in hospital until 3am this morning really poorly. On lots of medications and feeling quite rough. Hopefully it won't last long.

Sorry to hear you are still not well Ternaya.
Is Orianna around to help out?
Glad to hear Harley is ok for now.

I wonder if dogs are like kids? - if they have D&V they get temporary damage to their gut lining which means they can't tolerate certain food for a while - in the case of the kids normally lactose, a form of sugar found in milk and dairy.

Hope you are both back to normal soon x

    Thank you all.
Orianna came home Friday night as my OH phoned her as he was worried about me (he doesn't usually call her for anything!). She's back to uni today as has her final ever exam at uni on Tuesday. She will be moving back home on Thursday :)

That's a very good point Jacqui. It does seem very similar.

Our first lab used to have hunger pukes. She vommited with an empty stomach, not with breakfast in it. She had a very fragile stomach and could puke very easily. It was indeed yellowish liquid, like from gallbladder.

Finn vomits so now and then when he drinks too much after eating. But then he will eat the food again.
