I have been quite consistent in murphy learning the release cue of ok! Before he gets up after a sit etc and also he is very good with the word wait and I have been working on telling him to wait, throwing the ball (only can manage a couple of meters at the mo) and he waits until I say ok! And then he gets it and brings it back to me. Anyway, not thinking about this at all, my husband thought it would be fun to empty a whole tube of brand new tennis balls onto the floor in front of murphy thinking he would get ridiculously excited. Charlie got murphy to sit and then emptied the balls, but all murphy did was sit there, i suddenly realised it was because I hadnt released him so said ok! And then he went mad trying to pick them all up and wagging like crazy. I cant believe that happened! He really does surprise me quite regularly! Xxx

Sometimes I forget to release Dexter to eat,I'd been out to the line and hung his wet dog towel out the other morning and came back to him sitting in a puddle of drool waiting I wouldn't say waiting patiently...he was twitching with temptation but he hadn't given in ;D
