Of course we all love talking about dogs, and what could be better than talking about them for TWO FULL DAYS! Look who came to stay over - @Emily_BabbelHund!! It was so very enjoyable talking about our obsession and not boring anyone Tatze and Mollie had a great time too and Zaba got in on the act, of course!
How exciting!!! Very jealous of the Mollie cuddles, Emily! Have you counted the number of waggy tails you have left, Mags? I wouldn't put it past her to sneak Mollie into her bag...
How fabulous! I'll bet the Labrification is complete after a weekend with three such lovely pups, eh @Emily_BabbelHund?
Oh wow! How fabulous! Not sure who I'm more jealous of! Might be a better than evens bet that Emily might opt for a black labby for her future companion after meeting those two
It was such a lovely time and I can't thank Mags and her pups (and patient OH) enough. So fun talking dogs! And Tatze and Mollie are just as charming as you might already suspect. A darn shame that Miss Molly is already too big to fit into my carry on bag... not that I considered that or anything.
Ah what a lovely picture,so nice to see you Emily ,I'm sure you had a super time in the Boogie household x
Heh, heh... thank goodness Miss Mollie is more photogenic than I am. After my Brogan passed away nearly a year ago I've pretty much dealt with missing him through...ahem..."food therapy" and am not used to seeing the 20kg more generous-sized me. I may have to stick Mags' photo on my refrigerator not only because it is a wonderful shot of Mollie, but maybe it will inspire me to put down the ice cream and pick up a dog leash (even if it will still be a borrowed dog at the end of it for a while yet).
Yes, back in Germany now. I had to go to London for work last week so proposed my sneaky trip to Mags and she very kindly welcomed an apparently crazy person into her home. I'm very grateful, it was wonderful. I agree, ice cream is wonderful, but I need to get a grip just for health reasons. This was me with Brogan just 14 months ago, a couple months before he passed. It's been a tough year. Kinda feels like he took all my zip along with him.
Bless you, be kind to yourself - if that means less ice cream and more dog walks go for it!! (But you are lovely just as you are xx) ...
Come to Andorra, I have two dogs that love their long walks - and the mountains are perfect terrain for burning a calorie or two You'll get your zip back, don't you worry. Just need to find the reason again once you've suffered such a loss as you have.
How wonderful! And I, too, am not sure who I''m more jealous of.... I think your mojo is coming back, Emily. And once you have your pup you will get ship-shape in no time, I'm sure. But you look great to me...black looks good on you
