    Hello ,

My name is Penny , thank you for letting me join .
In April I had to have my Black Labrador ~ Max ~ put to sleep ,
we had him since he was 7 weeks old to a grand age of 14 , I/we were heartbroken !
I felt I would never get another but life was just not the same , so after a long talk with my
family , we all agreed to get another ...
I looked and found a Chocolate Labrador pup , So cute !
We went and got him , he was 9 weeks , he now is 14 weeks old !!
Such a Lovely Funny Cute little Chap !!
I hope to share some pictures of both of them .

Hi, and welcome from Holly and me in Monmouth.

It sounds like Max was a much-loved family member. I hope that your new pup brings you as much happiness.

Have you decided on a name for him yet?

I am sure Palace will help with your pain of loss of Max. I love his name. We never forget our beloved dogs but as someone so wisely said, "we are not replacing our old dog in our hearts, but creating a new space".

Welcome to the forum :) Really glad that you are able to experience the fun of another puppy after the very sad loss of your Max.

    What's the Crystal Palace? :)

Hi Penny, sorry you had to lose your lovely boy. Welcome to the Forum, it's been a lot of help for me in the last year with Cassie, who is 14 months. How lovely that you have found Palace, I love the name . Cass is Cassis really, her mother is Tia Maria, and she has a sister called Sherry and a sister called Bailey. Think you can see the theme

Welcome to you and Palace. He looks great! You must have very happy memories of all those years with Max.

I have Wispa (who is 5 and yellow) and Tuppence (who is 3 and black). Although we've had several dogs over many years, our first lab was black and called Penny, so Tuppence is the second black lab!
