Sounds as if he is on the mend. Have a good rest, you're going to need to be well rested once he really perks up :)

And then some. He will get better than you can.

Really pleased he is doing well.

Just caught up with this one - SO glad to hear your little boy is a bit better. Yes, try to get some sleep yourself! Thinking of you here, do let us know how you get on.
As someone else has said, he is a lucky boy to have you!

Hope your little Huxley continues to improve, what a worrying time for you. I'd have done the same as you and wouldn't have left my boy at the vets overnight if he'd have been left on his own. Hoping you're getting some rest too.

Hope your pup is doing better! Sounds like he's on the right track anyway. I had two dogs that had parvo, both survived but one was touch and go for sure. Being under the vet's care is essential so you are doing the right thing, parvo or not.

Hi everyone, well you were all right and Huxley is now 500% better. He has gone from so sick this time last night that the vet didnt really have many ideas what to do with him, to literally bouncing off the walls right now. We have had to put him outside because he is like a hurricane. I have got 2 litres of the dog powerade into him, which I think partly explains his energy levels as I guess it is mainly sugar, but he cant get enough of it and I dont think it matters as long as he is rehydrated. He has also had a little bit of plain dog food which the vet supplied us with. We are starting off slow with the food though. Thanks for all your well wishes, I was so worried about him and am so happy to see him improved, though after about 3 hours of sleep last night I cant wait to get to bed myself now. I do recommend the dog powerade if any of you ever have a puppy or a dog with a stomach bug, I think it has done absolute wonders for him.

It just breaks your heart when they are poorly, doesn't it? So pleased to hear he is on the up now.

Pongo is delighted to hear that Huxley is bouncing off the walls. He says "go for it, mate... she'll let you get away with ANYTHING for a while now, make the most of it."

I'm sorry. He is a bad influence.
