    The test has begun!

I am giving Tatze a tablespoon of tomato juice before each meal. We will see if it works!

I will continue this trail until the grass recovers - or not!

    :)

I checked it was safe and the poison site said "The ripened fruit of this plant (the commonly eaten tomato) is considered non-toxic but the green parts of the plant contain solanine, a glycoalkoloid. Solanine is also found in many other plants from the Solanaceae family, including the potato plant (green parts only). Typically, when ingested by dogs and cats, it can result in toxicity."

Interesting. I don't have grass. I used to have a lovely collection of ferns though. Really lovely. And useful - my garden is a bit shady and they filled in loads of shady gaps. They were big, bold and really quite beautiful. Charlie murdered them by peeing on the young tiny fronds in the spring. :(

Two are still alive - just. I'd love to replant if tomato juice would do the trick....
