Barley says thank you to all of you for wishing him well, he has been feeling better the ,last few days and been a lot happier in himself. He has started playing with puzzle again, even trying to roll on her : but she gets her own back by licking his ears out which he hates. a week ago we upped his joint stuff to the maximum for his weight, which seems to have kicked and he is feeling much happier in himself, and he has not had a walk for the past 5 days so the rest is also doing him good, and he is getting to the point that he wants to go out for walks now which is a good sign. after christmas he is getting his x-rays so we can find out what is wrong with him and get him on appropriate treatment. This has all been hard on me thinking about could i have done things different with him and prevented him from getting this bad, especially doing things like agility which he never liked until he started to get worse and then he started to enjoy it but we have not been for 2 months now. This year has been a busy year for him going to crufts and going to loads of shows, but it might have all been too much for him, it has been very hard on me i have had some struggles this year, but i am just lucky that he is still with us as he has given me some big scares that i wish i never have to go through again, but through all of this he is still my very special, and he will be forever, he is a one off dog, no other dog will ever live up to him, he is unique and i wish we had him as a puppy as he would be such a better dog, but i still love him the way he is, even with all of his fears, health issues, behavioral issues and fur everywhere.
