I won't even attempt it with Guide Dog pup Riggs - he's so not a soft mouth! :D

Well, I tried to get Casper "into the groove" so to speak first, playing a game of hold with a small dummy. The problem was he just knew I had an egg.... so he started throwing behaviours at me ..from "speak" to literally throwing the dummy back at me. Love him for it...:inlove:

Oh crumbs. I daren't even try with Molls and Sam, the egg wouldn't get anywhere near the ground, or even be held in a mouth for a split second. Crunched and swallowed immediately

When I'm back from holiday I am DEFINITELY trying this with Pongo. It will either be success or disaster. Think I'd better do it outside.

I had a go and Molly was very reluctant to take the egg. I clicked & treated for a nose touch several times and then at last she took it. She only held it for a split second but I managed to catch it. We repeated and got up to a 2second hold before she spat it out, I missed the catch and it went splat!

But no video so of course it didn’t really happen... ;)

(I might have another go tomorrow.)
