Re: The Happy Puppy Handbook is one year old today! I got our copy recently as we are expecting a new arrival (yellow lab pup) this summer. It is so clearly laid out and well written! I am trying to memorize some key sections (on nipping & biting, for instance!), since it has literally been decades since we had a 7-week old pup. Elvis, our rescue lab mix, was nearly 6 mos. old when he joined us last summer, and the other dogs who've come to us over the years have hall been older, at least a few months. Thank you so much for writing such a fine and easy to read book! I'm also working thru the rehab stages in Total Recall with our Elvis, now 14 mos. old and in the somewhat "out of control" category off leash - that book too is so well organized, well written, and reassuring.

It helped us prepare for Juno's arrival with confidence and to welcome her into the family with out ant real problems. Thanks Pippa on such a wonderful book, a well deserved number 1.
