I came across this on Facebook and wondered if anyone might be interested.
I don't have an itchy dog, so wasn't going to join, but they are interested in data from non-itchy dogs too, so I registered and completed the survey.
    The resources look useful too.

    https://www.itchydogproject.co.uk/

The brief for the project is.......
"The aim of this study is to investigate the potential genetic and environmental causes of canine atopic dermatitis. It is hoped that a better understanding of what leads some dogs to develop cAD, whilst others do not, will help us to develop a strategy for reducing the number of dogs affected by this disease.

In order to do this, we have decided to focus on just two similar breeds; the labrador and golden retriever. We need your help to collect data on both atopic and non-atopic dogs' of these breeds to allow us to look for differences (genetic, environmental and behavioural) between atopic and non-atopic dogs. So if you own a labrador or golden retriever (itchy or not!) please get involved!"

I just completed the survey for Oban. He was an itchy dog but resolving his gut issues had a remarkable affect on the itch, it's gone. It looks like a wide range of countries is accepted.

Ah, mine aren't old enough yet, but I'd encourage as many people as possible to take part.

Done this for Pongo. He did have very nasty hotspots but they've completely gone since we started using salmon oil with his meals. He still gets itchy paws and ear infections.

I can't do the next bit as I already have a profile (I can remember doing a research thing before) and it won't accept my email address. Wondering whether to use another email......

I got that email to, to do the CBARQ profile. Funny, I did that years ago when Oban was quite young. I always did mean to do it again to see if he was still the harum scarum puppy he was then. It was very interesting to do that survey, and then to have your replies tabulated against other dogs of your breed, if your breed is done, and Labs are.

Oh, @drjs@5 you can't use the same email? I don't remember if I even had the same email then that I use now.

I had the same problem, with not being able to use my existing account. I will email them and suggest they offer a sign instead of creating a new profile.

I've completed the C-BARQ questionnaire but I can't see how to find the results that compare my dog with others. There's supposed to be a "view scores" option, but I'm just getting it saying "completed".
    Anyone else had this problem?

Yes, I did too. I can get my old results from when I did Oban years ago so I wondered if it just takes time to get the new ones up?

Nope, at least not yet, three days later. Mine still says "completed" and when I go to the "start" link at Follow Up it has the whole survey unanswered, as if I never did it. There's no chance of confusing Oban now with what I did about 8 years ago as I had to make a whole new profile.

I just did the Survey for Tilly. While she is often a little itchy, she was much worse last night. We are trying to figure out if she ate anything different. We have talked about doing the exclusion diet, but it would be difficult with two dogs, and Tilly's itching seems to be under control most of the time.

I still can't see Oban's results at CBARQ. I contacted the Itchy Dog people from the email they sent me with the results of their survey and they sent me his CBARQ results as well. It would be nice to see them on CBARQ too though.
