to my post on the behaviour forum.

10 days ago I started a new training class at a long established club in the county and attended a free taster session, puppy improvers which went well, friendly and welcoming.

Last Saturday they were running a mini internal competition instead, so we had ago at puppy rally -- and came 4th out of 10 ! Slightly cheating as she's over 12 months but we were allowed as we've only just joined :)

Then we tried the Level 1 which went pretty well, until towards the end when Miss Cassie felt she'd done enough sitting and had lain down once already :)

Only a very small thing but considering we've never done any thing with other dogs and people around I was pleased with her and it was fun.

Mind you... there was some pretty impressive vertical jumping and lunging at other dogs at other times...:( ah well, work in progress

Well done! Sometimes we just focus on the negative, and forget how far we've come with them :)

I think this is spot on. I think we are all victims of this and forgot to celebrate all the positives.
