Re: The slipper wars..... The last few weeks have seen a lull in activity. Holly has focussed her attention on the decoy pile of old slippers by the bedroom door. Every evening we gather them up and put them back for the next day. Our real slippers have remained untouched. Last night I came home from work to find the pile of decoys untouched and one of my slippers had gone. I found it in the middle of the lawn. It was raining. She's also resumed her raids on Ruth's slippers and has been taking them to her bed. I think a new phase of the slipper wars could be breaking out.
Re: The slipper wars..... Investing in a locked cabinet, perhaps? We've had skirmishes here too. On the weekend the shoelace on one of my sneakers mysteriously shortened itself :

Re: The slipper wars..... I think you'll have to wear the decoy slippers occasionally to give them the alluring perfume of the real slippers.

Re: The slipper wars..... Holly's Dad: I know, we'll distract her with a pile of decoy slippers. Holly: Bless his little cotton socks! Aww...I'll just pretend to be interested in the decoys until I'm sure his behaviour of guarding the real ones becomes extinct....then they are mine! All mine!
